What's the point of being a member of this site if I'm not allowed to look at its content?

I consider myself mature enough to look at "mature content". I'm seventeen. Most of my favorite movies are rated "R", and in my country, I'm allowed to watch them. So why can't I look at what is so freely called "art", ONLINE, just because there are (God forbid) breasts, or blood, or hell, full-frontal nudity? I see full-frontal nudity every morning.

What sort of HATEFUL creature does this? A good chunk of my favorites are "mature content". TOO LATE, DEVIANTART, YOU HAVEN'T SHIELDED MINE EYES QUICKLY ENOUGH. Now I'm emotionally scarred! For LIFE! My mommy and daddy will sue you for being irresponsible now! Give me a break.

I've been on this site, looking at its content, since I was a little tyke. And now, 5 months before I turn "legal", you're going to pull this crap on me? Go to hell. And take your self-righteous censorship with you.

I really can't believe this. Now I can't see some of my favorite pieces until my birthday. I used to LOVE this site. I used to think it wouldn't submit to society's screwed-up views on art. But it has. And you've turned it into pornography; into something that you think I should be shielded from. You aren't my MOTHER, DeviantArt. You haven't the right to tell me what I can and cannot look at. Because I'm going to look at it anyways, and I'll shield MYSELF from what I don't like.
